Discover all that performing arts has to offer!

Theatre 360 for Youth is a 12-week long class that offers an interdisciplinary experience for theatre-loving youths to explore and experience different theatre art forms through a series of workshops. This class is designed for passionate youths looking to expand their skillset in performing arts, challenge themselves to try new things, connect with a variety of industry professionals, and elevate their portfolio.

How is this different from other Gateway Academy classes?
Instead of focusing on one aspect of theatre (e.g. acting or musical theatre), students will receive the unique opportunity to engage in a variety of performing arts. There will be two to four themes covered in each Fall and Winter session and each theme will be taught by a different professional artist. No two themes will be the same so that students registered in both sessions are exposed to a full range of topics and industry professionals.

Are there any prerequisites to register for this class?
Yes. In order to provide best learning experience for our students, we will require the student must be enrolled in one of the following:

  • Gateway Academy’s Acting C Level Class in the same session
  • Gateway Academy's Musical Theatre C Level Class in the same session
  • A performing arts program at another academy/school

Or

  • Intending to enroll in a performing arts class at a secondary school

Health and Safety
The health and safety of our students is of the utmost importance. To maintain a safe learning environment, we are reducing our in-person class sizes, increasing our cleaning frequency, and practicing physical distancing and mask-wearing during class. We will also be asking our students to aid us in creating a safe and comfortable learning environment. Find a quick summary of our health and safety measures here, or explore our detailed health and safety procedures.
