Acting Summer Camps

A fun on-your-feet physical class, these camps give students a variety of drama skills. From vocal and movement exploration to character-based improv, story-creation to script work, acting on film to acting on stage, students learn to work together as a group towards a shared goal.

Acting 1

Through this week-long full day camp, Acting 1 students (ages 8-10) will build skills in acting, speech, storytelling and character creation, all while gaining confidence, having fun and making friends! Students will work on scripts, improvisation and ensemble building and work towards an informal, closed presentation. Family and friends are invited at the end of the camp to get a taste of what makes theatre fun and exciting, as well as share in the work that the students have been doing all week.

NEW! Acting for Stage and Film

Acting for Stage and Film is a week-long full day camp for students ages 11-13 that want an introduction to acting technique for both stage and on-camera performance. This camp combines the physicality and storytelling skills of theatre, with the focused performance skills of film. After a full week of confidence building, making friends and having fun, students will participate in an informal Open Studio with friends and family at the end of the camp, and take home a sample clip of their acting work.
